Team Tempo Sports

Individual athletes with team spirit

The Team Tempo-Sport consists of over 50 athletes. In recent years, the team riders have become true medal winners in the disciplines of triathlon, road cycling, mountain biking, and running. These successes are important to the team. But there is much more at stake. The team aims to spread enthusiasm for endurance sports and serve as ambassadors in training and competition.

The Swiss triathlon, road cycling, mountain biking, and running communities have long since grown accustomed to this sight: athletes from Team Tempo-Sport not only compete in a wide range of events but also enjoy tremendous success. “The team has definitely established itself both at home and abroad,” says team manager René Kuster, summarizing the groundwork laid by Tempo Sport and its various sponsors. “What’s especially nice is that our team maintains a high level of consistency, while teams all around us come and go.”

Consistency and Loyalty

This consistency is also reflected in the low turnover among team members. Many of the athletes who joined in the early years are still part of the team. The team is limited to just over 50 athletes.

Individual athletes as a team

Team Tempo-Sport is a clear commitment to team spirit among individual athletes. Whether on a road bike, in a triathlon, or in running, the athletes compete for the same team—something that is otherwise uncommon in this context. The athletes share ideas, support one another, and have developed a strong sense of camaraderie over the past few years. The store in Horgen and Erlinsbach serves as the hub for this. Hardly a day goes by without team athletes meeting there to catch up. The team riders also serve as leaders for various events and seminars organized by Tempo-Sport or its partners, acting as ambassadors for the sponsors and, above all, for endurance sports.
